Malete Holds the First World Cleanup Day, Set Record for Continuity

Malete, Moro Local government area of Kwara State holds the environmental sanitation and Community Enlightenment to enhance a safe and sustainable atmosphere as they stare down pollution to commemorate World Clean up Day.


The program which was an initiative of Susty Vibes led by an advocate of climate action, Mariam Abdulkareem was attended by over 20 individual as Kwasu Students, residents and Indigene of Malete started at 9:10 AM from Tarmac to Malete and polluted Malete area.


The Team lead of Susty Vibes street conference in Malete, Mariam Abdulkareem speaks on waste Management with the residents that instead of disposing Plastics, Nylons and old or spoilt gadgets, they can recycle, recreate and reuse as some of the 170 actions to embrace a sustainable lifestyle published by United Nations, Geneva.


President of Malete Development Association, Muhammad Abdulrazaq and Malete indigene join the clean up on "Saturday 16th of September, 2023" highly participating community lead are Ibrahim Ambali, Malete APC Chairman Babatunde Soliu and Rauf Baba.


Advancing SDG 6 and 13 which is Clean Water and Sanitation with climate action was the goal attained after community service and volunteer work supported by Kwasu, Malete Development Association, AzcafSurprise Kwasu Radio facilitated by Susty Vibes.
