The Head Master of LEGA Jenukunu Primary School appeals to the state government to hasten their plans on the rebuilding of Three collapse classrooms and renovation of the classroom left for teaching pupils.
Hameen Abubakar in is words on EDUCATION TODAY, he said about 154 pupils of Junukenu primary school sit on the floor to learn as there is no sufficient furniture for effective learning.
The Head Master while speaking with the anchor of the program Mariam Abdulkareem on the 12th of December, 2022 made it known that the Schools Basic Management Committe (SBMC) are the one who provided them with some chair the pupils are presently using.
The natural disasters of heavy rainfall and wind storm that cause the collapse of three out four classroom on the 3rd of September, 2021 led to the unbearable condition of leaning in Jenukunu, Malete, Moro local government of Kwara state and is the reason why the school is closed down whenever it is rainy.
He disclosed that at the beginning of this year he had wrote serial letters and the letter as being access by the Chairman of KWSUBEB, Prof. Sheu Adaramaja and he has already assured him that the next school development intervention project will cover Jeunkunu Primary School.
He added that the few numbers of the students turning up for school is due to the stable School feeding project of kwara state government and he appreciate the initiative.
